New Patient Center

Your first visit will be about 45 minutes in length. Upon entering the clinic, you’ll be warmly greeted by one of our friendly office staff, who will offer you a nice cup of tea or some water. If you filled out the new patient online forms before your visit, those will be collected, and you can relax for a few minutes before meeting with one of our doctors.

Your chiropractor will then conduct a thorough evaluation, including:

• Consultation
• Neurological and orthopedic examination
• Surface EMG (a painless measurement of the electrical energy in spinal muscles)
• Thermal Scan (a bilateral temperature measurement to detect inflammation
• X-rays, if necessary.

You’ll be gowned during this painless, noninvasive evaluation.

Your second visit will also be about 45 minutes in length. During this visit, your doctor will deliver a doctor’s report, which is a thorough review of your examination, scan and X-ray results. We ask that you bring your significant other during this visit for additional support, as we’ll be discussing pertinent information as it relates to your health.

Customized care options will also be discussed and a plan of action reviewed to help you get out of pain and optimize your health.  Once all of your questions are answered, we’ll be able to get you started with your first gentle chiropractic adjustment.

A typical office visit is usually no longer than 15 minutes in length, and often includes gentle traction of the spine. With the groundwork completed, we can quickly evaluate the condition of your spine and nervous system, and get you on your way.
